These are intended for boring holes down long spindles, like standard and table lamps, on those lathes with a hollow tail stock. The tip is specifically designed to keep the boring straight and accurate whilst at the same time allowing shavings to be removed cleanly. Overall length is 30”, diameter 5/16”.
