If you want to add some interesting features to your work, the Robert Sorby Precision Boring Kit allows accurate location of boring. This may be used to create voids or gaps which can be filled with an inlay material or a contrasting wood. It works well when used in conjunction with the Indexing System. The Precision Boring Kit comes complete with 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" bushes and brad point drills – or 6mm, 9mm and 12 mm in the metric version. Also included is the tool stem appropriate to your lathe – this can also be used as part of the Modular Tool Rest System.
